F3A Battle Heats Up: Top Six Separated by Just 39 Points

1–2 minutes

The F3A Championship is in full swing after a day marked by highly variable weather conditions. This morning, under a steady North-East wind, Finland’s Lassi Nurila stood out on Panel 1 by taking the maximum score of 1000 points. He finished ahead of Austrians Gernot Bruckmann and Werner Kohlberger, while the French Paysant-Le Roux family remains in striking distance.

In the afternoon on Panel 2, conditions were initially tough before gradually improving over the hours. Italy’s Andrea Cervi capitalized on the clearer weather to put in the best flight of the second round, leading Lassi Nurila and Gernot Bruckmann, who both showed impressive consistency.

In tonight’s provisional overall standings, the suspense is at an all-time high: the top six pilots are separated by a mere 39 points. Everything remains up for grabs, with two preliminary flights left to determine the 30 pilots who will qualify for the semi-finals.
